Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

The frequent seizures in your niece require evaluation by a neurologist.

An MRI of brain-epilepsy protocol, would help in identifying any underlying reason in the brain, which is causing her seizures.

Most cases would get controlled with medications. In some cases, surgery may be required.

Please discuss this with her treating neurologist.

Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
