6 Year Old Kid, Suffering From Stomach Pain ?
My 6 year old daughter keeps on complaining of stomach pains? over the last couple of days she has been having small amount of poo in her pants, but nothing on the toilet, she has not complained of pain until today, she has had small accidents in 5 pairs of pants today! she is fine in herself and is not running a temperature. She does eat fruit everyday, but not to the extent to cause this?

Your daughter might have gastro enteritis,
Give plenty of liquids orally,
Give her butter milk,curd and rice,
some antispasmodic medicine.
She will be alright,if pain and motinos increase consult your doctor.

hi, welcome to healthcare magic,
After reading your childs history, it is clear that your child is suffering from GI upset.
The possibilities are--
1- Worm infestation, which is very common, in children.
2- Viral infecton, usually it occurs after an attack of acute viral infection.
3- Child is suffering from dehydration.
4- Amoebiasis or giardiasis...but in your case the possibilities are rare, reason is that he is suffering from constipation, while in amoebiasis, it causes diarrhoea.
What you will have to do now---
1- Give him exclusive breast feed, if possible, the purpose is to maintain hydration, secondly, the breast milk is rich in antibodies that helps to fight ahainst the organisms like virus, bacteria, amoeba etc.
2- Consult a paediatrician, the doctor will prescribe him, syp albendazole with ivermectin for 7-10 days.
3- The doctor will also prescribe you an antibiotic syrup.
4- Maintain proper hygine of your baby.
Dont worry, this is not a serious condition, please just follow the above instructions and he will be all rite in a week.
