6 Month Old Child, Dry Cough. Given Asthalin, Breastfed. Safe Medication?
My baby girl is 6 month old. Since last 2-3 days she is suffering from dry cough . Even she don t want to take NAN also. But there is no problem in breast feeding. Her temperature is 98.5 whole day. Though she is very much jolly but last 2 days she is nagging continuously. I have consulted a doctor and he has given Asthalin. I just want to know whether this medicine safe for my baby or not. Please suggest.

yes it is safe
but it is given after detail respiratory system examination. if she is having some added sounds in auscultation of chest then the drug can be prescribed
