5 Years Old Kid Has Very Itchy Red Rash Around Neck/ears. Is This An Allergic Reaction Or Something Else ?

5 year old son has itchy rash mainly upper body neck/ears, and very red and also few spots throughout rest, he has had viral infection last week and still has runny nose, doctor today said he has an allergic reaction to something, but he hasnt ate or done anything that he hasnt done before. look forward to reply

Please observe the kid to find out the substance he is allergic to and avoid that substance in future.Even though it doesnt seem that he ate something , it might be anything that can cause an allergy.You can consult your pediatrician for anti allergic medications.
Once found the allergy causing substance , you can opt for desensitization.
