5 Year Old, Fever, Burning Sensation In Eyes, Shivering. Taking Iburgesic For Viral Fever. Advice?

m son is 5 and half years old, and is having fever since last 4 days, showed to doctor on very first day they said viral. his fever shoots to 104, gets burning sensation in eyes and shivering and gets dry cough. i am giving iburgesic at 7-8hr interval. please guide - how long the viral fever goes on and do i need to again show it to doctor. thanks

So your child is having viral fever.
Normally it should not take more than seven days.
But if it doesn't subside by seven days then you should go to your doctor.
