5 month old child, several bowel movements, green stools, foul odor, no fever or vomiting. Cure?

I have a 5 month old boy and for the past week he has been having several bowel movements a day, like 7 or 8. They don t amount to much but he s still going. It looks like mucus and is sometimes green and has a foul odor. He has no fever or is throwing up. He s happy but has gotten really clingy. Just wondering if u had any advice

my first advice is to prevent the child from mouthing unclean objects because this is through which most of the infections spread. secondly kindly get a stool examination for stool routine and stool for reducing substance, seeing the results which we can decide upon further actions. watch for signs of dehydration- decreased urine output, dry oral cavity, dry skin, if any of these things found, require immediate medical help.
