Good morning, My name is AAAAAA and I am 41 year old. I have a 4 year old girl and i had two miscarriges one and half years ago, Now it has been one and half year that I have regular sex, every thing is OK with me and my husband, but I dont get pregnant. I used the IVF 5000 injection and clomid 50 m twice, but for two months it did not get any result. Can you tell me why I dont get pregnant because of my age?? Thank you very much in advance

Hello Susan,
The chances of pregnancy get lesser as age advances because of dwindling number of follicles in the ovaries as well as decrease in the quantity of reproductive hormones. You may have to continue treatment for at least 4-6 cycles before you can get any result. Since you had miscarried twice in the recent past, there are chances that you could be suffering from hormonal imbalances. Also embryological defects are common in late age pregnancies and they also have to be ruled out. You should first get investigated thoroughly and manged properly by an experienced infertility specialist. Take care.
