4 Year Old With Swollen Eyes And Post Nasal Drip, Vomiting. No Cough. What To Do?

Our four year old has had post nasal drip for four days, no coughing or runny nose. She has been swallowing hard and clearing her throat and eyes have been swollen. Today she started vomiting and vomited five or six times over a five hour time. She felt warm but refused to have her temp taken. Does this sound like result of post nasal drip or maybe just a bug. Want to treat symptoms if it is sinus drip. She hasn't been herself since drip started Sunday. Irritable and just an appearance of not being herself

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
Post nasal drip without nasal blockage is uncommon.
Seems like a case of pharyngitis.
Gargle with medicated gargle if possible.
Give her nasal decongestants if there is nasal blockage.
Consult your ENT doctor if the problem persists.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.
Hope this answers your query.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Have a nice day.
