4 Year Old With High Fever, Cold Bath And Ibuprofen Make No Change. Suggestions ?

I have a 4 year old boy who has had a temperature of 103.5 for the past few hours. I have stripped him, given him a cold bath and given him ibuprofen however this has made no difference. He eyes are also sensitive to light at the moment. Right now he has fallen asleep but I am just wondering what to do if he feels the same when he wakes up.

hi alison
he will need fever medicine.. sometimes almost 4-6 times a day. What one should keep a watch on is, danger symptoms like intake and out put and any signs of any systemic disease like say cough cold etc.

At high fever eyes get extra sensitive to light. avoid cold bath. warm water bath is more beneficial.

thanks
