4 Months Baby, Vomiting After Feeding. No Change In Feeding Habits. Cause Of Vomiting?

Hi, my 4 months old baby all of a sudden started to vomit up to 4 times during each feeding (ex. i burp her 4 times in a single feeding and with every burp she vomits) she was fine this whole time she started vomitting today, she has no fever and i didnt change her formula sice birth, nothing has changed in her feeding so what's causing her to vomit?

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

The vomitings are due to gastrocolic reflux or due to some infection causing gastritis.

You can give domperidone drops in prescribed dose 15 to 30 minutes before the feeds twice or thrice daily.

Observe for loose stools.

Monitor the hydration of the child.

Consult the pediatrician for physical examination to look for the causes of vomitings and prescription of medication.

Thanks for your query

i can feel your concerns

you can give her antiemetic almost half hour before feed

if your burping technique is fine ,then she must be investigated

is ahe taking feed regularly?

is she become very hungry after vomiting?

i advise you to consult your doctor

have a proper clinical examination

she may need few investigations like ultrasound abdomen

moniter her hydration status
