4 Month Old Has Gripping Pain, Prescribed Colimex. Why Is He Not Having Any Stools ?

Hi, My son is 4 month old and he was having some griping from last two days. We consulted with pedeatrician and he prescribed COLIMEX-DF drops twice a day. We have given COLIMEX-DF drops to baby on yesterday evening and he stopped griping but he has stool only once after having medicine. In general he will have 3 to 4 times a day. Could you please tell why he is not having stool?

Hi,
It seems that due to taking less milk or feeding due to colicky pain and to some extent antispasmodic drops having effect on intestinal movements.
Nothing to worry.
Give enough feeding and continue with drops as and when required.
Ok and take care.
