Dear J
You definitely have Excessive daytime sleepiness. You mention that you have diagnosed as having sleep apnoea. But did you get a whole night lab based polysomnography done. And before the prescription of I believe CPAP did you undergo split night or titration study to evaluate the optimum pressure for you. If your symptoms are not relieved then probably the parameters of your machine are not optimum to your requirement. Please go back to your physician/ sleep specialist and discuss these issues.
Hope you get better.
