32 Weeks Pregnant. Elevated SGOT, SGPT. Taking Omeprazole. Should This Be The Cause For Concern?

Hi I am 32 weeks pregnant and my sgot and sgtt levels are elevated by 60 Is there something to be concern of and my doctor currently has me on omeprazole 40 mg for heart burn this was prescribed to me the same day I got blood work done. I just went to my doctor office this week and they checked my levels again and they up to 83 should I be concered??

Hello,
You have elevated liver enzymes due to onstetric cholestasis. This is a common problem in pregnancy. Start tablet udiliv twice a day. Rest you can continue the same treatment. Omeprazole is fine . Take it on an empty stomach in the morning.
