28 Year Old Have Swollen Gums, Blisters On Gums, Sore Throat. No Effect With Antibacterial Rinsing. Treatment?
28 year old woman, no illnesses prior. sudden onset of swollen gums , blisters on gums and inside of cheeks, sore throat and swollen glands in neck. gums are so bad cannot eat and teeth are aching now gums bleeding and tongue swollen. no allergies, very good dental and oral care. low grade fever. no signs of strep have had mono once 5 years ago. using anti bacterial rinse not helping.

Swollen gums may be due to gingivitis.
I would advice you to get your teeth cleaned.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Use soft interdental toothbrush and clean your teeth in back-forth and up-down motion.
The swelling on tongue may be due to aphthous ulcers.
Include plenty of fruits and leafy vegetables in your diet.
Vitamin becosules,iron and folic acid supplements can be administered.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.
