2.5 Year Son, Fever, Cough. Taking Crocin, Ibugesic. Suggestions?

Hi, My son is having high fever of 102.7 with slight cough. Doctor gave Crocin 7ml 6 hourly and if fever does not come down then in 6 hours gap give Ibugesic 3ml. My son is 12 kgs and his age is 2.5 years. Is the dosage correct.
He gave 7 ml crocin, then after 3 hours Ibugesic 3 ml, them again after 3 hours Crocin 7ml if fever persists

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Crocin ( paracetamol) dose is 10-12 mg /kg/dose 6 hourly.
Ibugesic dose 10-15 mg/kg/dose 6 hourly.

Mild degree cough and fever is not under control so add one antibiotic after the advice of your doctor.
May be due to flu than antibiotics will not help.
Ice pack sponging will give relief.
If flu course 4-5 days.
