Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic,

You are suffering with Poly-cystic ovarian disease. Overweight are more prone to it.

Patients suffering with Poly cystic ovarian disease have multiple small cysts in their ovaries. Ovaries become enlarged and produce excessive amount of estrogen and androgen hormones. These hormones suppress ovulation and absence of ovulation causes infertility.

Many patients with PCOD also have insulin resistance and have raised level of insulin. These patients are treated with anti diabetic drugs like metformin and troglitazone. These can improve your fertility by reversing endocrine abnormality and improving your ovulatory response.

Hope you found my response to your query informative and helpful.

With good wishes,

Dr.Chandra Shekhar Sharma

Hi.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
You probably have a disorder called PCOS.
Try the following-
1] Try & lose 10% - 15% of your present body weight, by regular exercises, low carbohydrate & low fat diet.
2] Get a blood test to rule out the possibility of Hypothyroidism &/ Diabetes.
You will get into PCOS due to obesity & Insulin resistance.
