20 Weeks Pregnant, Fetal Scan Taken. Normal? Baby Boy Or Girl?
hello doctor i want to know my baby gender now i m 20 wks pregnent,,and my scan report is bpd 4.75 c.m 20 wks 3 days ; hc 18.10 c.m 20 wks 4 days; ac 15.96 c.m 21 wks 01 days ; fl 3.19 c.m 19wks 6 days; td 02.07 c.m 19 wks 6 days; hl 03.40 c.m 21 wks 03 days and fetul heart rate is 137 BPM. fetul body weight 362 gms(+-16%). fetul moment is good fetul spine is normal .No obvious fetal congental anomaly is noted. amniotic liquor is normal. Limb free cord free largest vertical pocket measures 4.28 c.m) Four quardrant amniotic fluid index-13.16. placenta is placed in fundus and in upper uterine body in anterior wall. grade I maturity. placental lower margin is well above internal os. internal os is closed. Features suggest single live intrauterine fetus presently in changing lie of approx 20 wks 4 dys gestational age. can u say whether my baby is a boy r girl with this information ,,i m so exiceted to know

You are 20 wks pregnant and I went through the complete scan Report. Everything is normal as per the last line of the scan report (Features suggest single live intrauterine fetus presently in changing lie of approx 20 wks 4 dys gestational age). You are also aware of this. Actually you must be happy.
Don't you know revealing sex of the child is great punishable offence. So as per Law no doctor will r eveal the sex of the child in the scan report and even if you ask orally. I understand that every pregnant woman will be excited to know the sex of the child
A child is the greatest Gift God has given to you. Don't separate them by sex.
A wish you safe delivery and happy life.

From this report it cannot be guessed whether the baby is a boy or girl. To know that you will need a repeat ultrasound scan and request your doctor specifically about it.
Also check the laws in your country, as in some countries it is illegal to try to find the gender of the baby before it is born.
