My 20 month old daughter gets new welts on her body everyday all she do is scratch.i noticed that I get them too an there itchy like we're getting bit by something but don't know when? It takes maybe 24 or more hours for them to go away if we don't scratch but new ones come an sometimes it leaves marks.i looked for bugs and changed soap but found nothing.we do have sensitive skin but I can't think of what's causing it!!

Pediatrician 's  Response
The disease is cold as urticaria. The lesions have tendency of recurrence. There are many varieties.Chronic and cold urticaria are most difficult to treat.
Rule out associated predisposing conditions such as heminthiasis, atopy,Vit D deficiency,
The treatment includes long term antihistamines like fexofenadine, cetrizine levocetrizine etc.
syp allegra 5 ml twice a day for 1month may be a good choice to start with.
