2 Year Old With Reddish Spots On The Chest. Could This Be A Spider Bite?

My 2 year old daughter has a red spot on her chest with a yellow center. She won't stay still long enough for me to see if there are any bite marks but I'm concerned. I noticed it when we got out of the shower and have but noticed it most the day. There was one point earlier where i found her poking a spider with a crayon and I'm worried its a spider bite.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Dear user,

It could well be a spider bite, but I am more inclined to think of it as being a boil as it has a yellowish center. Just apply petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on it for another day, but if the swelling increases or turns more yellow, take her to the doctor for a drainage of the pus.
