2 Year Old With Chronic Hives, Pain In The Knee. Need To Get Checked?

My 2 year old son (who has chronic hives) recently has started saying he can't walk and collapsing and saying his knees hurt. The first time we thought his foot or leg fell asleep, but it takes about an hour for him to walk again. Not sure if its normal or worth checking into. Otherwise, he is very active and strong for his age.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

No this cannot be normal.

I suggest you should consult your doctor for further examination and investigations.

Is there swelling of joints?
Is the pain migrating from one joint to another?
Did he have any sore throat recently?

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
