19 Month Old Throwing Up Continuously. What Food To Give ?

hi ,so my 19 month old daughter woke up throwing up,at first it was like watery with bits of food then she threw up two more times but it was just saliva , unless the mucus was clear. she had to eat the day before fried chicken, rice, potatoes, clam chowder, biscuts with cheese, bread, ham, crackers and two jello cups, water, juice and a little bit of soda ..she hasn t had anything to eat yet because its still very early.she hasn t had any bowl movements today or yesterday all day.when she wakes up,she is very cranky.i was wondering what she may have and how or what i can feed her that will help her feel better or that will stay down and keep her hydrated.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi

For vomiting give her domperidone/ ondensetron syrup according to her weight.
You may feed her after half an hour of the medication.

Avoid spicy and oily food/ citrus fruits/ non-vegetarian food / soda.

You may give her milk, bread, curd, rice, biscuits, fruits like apple, papaya, banana, vegetable soups etc.
If she continues to vomit and does not tolerate any feeds you might have to visit your Pediatrician as she might need medications like antacids if she has gastritis.

Wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
