My wife is 17 weeks 3 days pregnant and diagnosed with oligohydraminos , have taken scan on 11/7/13 the report says:
1.good fetal movements and cardiac pulsations noted.
a) BPD-3.7 cm (b) FFL-2.21 cm, (c) HC- 14.02 cm, (d)AC- 11.34 cm (e) FHR- 160 bpm (f) EFA by U/S- 17 week 2 days (f) EFW- 175 gms (g) EDC by U/S- 17/12/13.
placenta is fundal and along left lateral wall. Grade -I maturity
Liquor- Volume is subjectively reduced, Largest cord free pocket- 3cm
cervical length is 5 cm. internal OS is closed.
Foetal cardiac pulsations are well visualised and recorded on M-mode.
No obvious major anomalies at this point in time
fetal renal shadow outlines are just identifiable
Bladder is normal
Impression: single live fetus in variable presentation at 17-18 weeks of gestational age
Oligohydraminos
for clinical correlation.
Pl suggest us how to increase amniotic fluid.
