14 Months Old Has Been Throwing Up, Has Fever And Stinking Sulfur Smell Gas. What To Do ?
My daughter, who will be 14 months on the 24th, has been throwing up since yesterday morning. Roughly around 12 times. She also has a fever since last night up to 103.4 and she also has stinking sulfur smelling gas. It never stinks. She still nurses. What should I do? She will only nurse and drinks he won t eat realfood.
Hi
It is looking like Gastritis or gastroenteritis as the child is having vomitings, fever and foul smelling gas. For vomitings you can give antiemetic in prescribed dosage and for fever you give the advised tylenol and you do tepid sponging with lukewarm water as there is high grade fever and you can give sips of oral rehydrating fluids in equal amounts of losses in vomitings to prevent dehydration and consult your Pediatrician for further specific treatment.
