12 Month Old Son, High Fever, Increased Heart Beat, Clammy. What Could Be This?

My son is 12 months old he will be 1 in may.. He has been sick off and on here lately and I have took him to the doctor but they can't seem what is causing him to have these high fever for a few days and then be fine. I just put him down for a nap and realize his heart is beating fast and he is clammy. Is this normal? I checked his heart rate and it was 114.

Pediatrician 's  Response
hi
thanks for your quiry
mostly i am confident that this is due to the fever
and infectious case but beside that you must get her ecg done
to rule out superventricular tachycardia
in which heart rate exceeds 180 to 200
and feeble pulses with calmmy skin
some times it spontaneously revert back
wishing him a speedy recovery
regards
dr.imran
