11 Year Old Son Having Advanced Bone Age Of 13 Years. Showing Signs Of Puberty. Suggest Treatment?

My 11 year old son was sent for a bone age study at his annual physical. He is showing apparent signs of puberty. He has grown 4 inches in the year, has thin armpit hair and a few thin pubic hairs. His testicles have started getting larger (so I'm told). The bone age study showed advanced one age of 13 years +/- 10 months. We have been referred to a pediatric endocrinologist for follow up. What should we expect? What kind of treatment will he need? I am only 5'2 and my husband is only 5'6. My son is currently a smidge under 4'11. With an advanced bone age of 13 years, will he stop growing soon?

Pediatrician, Neonatology 's  Response
Hi,
Now the tend is earlier onset of puberty in both boys and girls.
As his bone age shows some discrepancy,he may need some hormonal tests ,but nothing much will be needed unless he has specific hormonal disturbance .
So wait for the endocrinologist's opinion and do not be scared!
God bless
