10 Month Baby, Suffering From Cold And Cough. Taking Cough Syrup. Suggestions?

This is regarding my 10months old Baby, she is having Cold & Cough for last 7 days, earlier the doctor had given some cough Syrup and asked us to come back after 3 days if still the Cough persists and 2 days back when we went to doctor he prescribed AMBRODIL Syrup, Erithromycin & Otrinoz nasal drops, but still Cold & Cough is there. Kindly advise

Also with antibiotics and antiallergics ,give her green tea and honey to eat.
steam inhalation is effective.
Mostly these are viral attacks
