1 Year Old Having Cough, Secretions In Chest And Nasal Mucus. Started Giving Nido With Honey. Are These Related?

Hi doc I started using nido with honey to my 14 months old daughter but she is coughing now and then and she has lot of secretions in her chest and nasal mucus but there is no infection. what is the problems really with her is it the milk or its just any illness?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM
Your child has developed Respiratory tract infection, usually it is viral and many times if not taken care then bacterial infection may be superadded.
These symptoms your child has developed are not related to the milk or honey you added.
Your child requires proper treatment for the RTI. Please consult your paed for required management.
Avoid self medication.
