I have a 1 year old son. He was walking and fell on kitchen tile floor dorectly on his nose . He immediately got a rainbow shaped bruise across the middle of it and starting down the side creases. It also bled a little but never dripped blood there was just blood up in his nostril . Should I take him to the emergency room?

there is nothing to panic if the bleeding has stopped, usually nasal injuries bleed profusely. just observe if he has tenderness over the injury or any change in color or change in the shape. i m worried about fractures for which immediate care has to be taken, clear of his nostrils off the clots by using saline nasal drops so that the child can breathe freely.
