HELP! what should I do?

hi, I have no idea what to do, I have eliminated almost all of my sexual drive through avoidance because i constantly live in fear of getting pregnant. Also for other reasons, myself and my partner do not have much privacy at the moment. A combination of this cannot be doing anything for either of us and our well being. We shall have more privacy in about a month and i would love to try to make myself more intimate with him again, but again, cannot enjoy ourselves as we are being really careful. he never buys condoms and I cant make him, also I would rather he didnt have to use them and i dont want to use one of those diaphraghm thingy's. I never want to have children,(if i change my mind, i would like to adopt a child who is in dire need of a good home) I already know that I wouldnt be able to stay sane if I found out I was pregnant so it it a big problem for me. I would get the snip but i wouldnt know where and not able to get it until have saved up the money which could be a while!
Can anyone please tell me of any other methods of contraception (and not the pill-the fact that it increases chances of getting cancer and changes your hormone levels really scares me).
a method that doesnt alter your hormones much and doesnt involve a rubber?
Any spermicides that dont need the additional use of a rubber....anything? thanks ALL
