Brief Answer:
Analgesics, antiinflammatories with steroid cream.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

bleeding from the rectum during defection since long time could be due to piles, fissures, fistula or rarely any growth in rectum etc.

First thing is to get examined by surgeon to rule out above possibilities.

You should go for complete hemogram,ESR, electrolytes, stool examination and colonoscopy with clinical examination of anal area.

Below mentioned treatment would be helpful.

1) Take quinolones antibiotics with antiprotozoals (like oflox and ornidazole) which will require prescription.

2) Anovate or Dobesil cream or ointment to be applied over anus after defecation (available over the counter).

3) Syrup cremaffin plus 2 TSF at a bed time to have a effortless bowel evacuation.(available over the counter)

4) Hot seitz bath,
5) Sit naked in hot warm water for 15 minutes
6)Avoid alcohol, avoid oily and spicy foods.

7) analgesics (diclofenac) and antiinflammatories (ibuprofen) will be available over the counter.

If any underlying cause is found then it should treated accordingly.

Hope this will help you.
