Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Nasal congestion followed by epistaxis is nothing to worry about and is common complaint. It just needs supportive care. I want to reassure you that nosebleeds may be scary, they're generally only a minor annoyance and aren't dangerous so no worries.

All she needs is home remedies like Remain calm.Sitting up straight.
Leaning head forward. Tilting head back will only cause swallowing of the blood.
Pinching the nostrils together with your thumb and index finger for 10 minutes and no less. Spitting out any blood in mouth. Swallowing it may induce vomit.
After the bleeding has stopped:
Try to prevent any irritation to the nose, such as sneezing or nose blowing, for 24 hours.
Ice packs do not help.
Exposure to dry air, such as in a heated home in the winter, can contribute to the problem. Adding moisture to the air with a humidifier or vaporizer will help keep the nose from drying out and triggering more bleeding. Another option is to place a pan filled with water near a heat source, such as a radiator, which allows the water to evaporate and adds moisture to the air.

if the epistaxis repeatedly occurs or there is some history of blood thinners or warfarin etc then i would suggest visit to ER for a little work up and nasal packing if need be.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and her and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
