What Causes Erection Problem In A High BP Patient?

Question: i am 27 year old male. i masturbate a lot (3-4 times a day). Now i have high BP 150/105. However i am not under medication as of now. I don't get morning erections for a while. and i cant sustain erections if i don't continuously stimulate with hands and watching porn. My penis is always flaccid. sometimes if i force masturbate i feel burning sensation in my penis and pain in testicles. should i consult a specialist and look into it immediately as i am planning to get married soon. Please any advice would be of great help.

You are very young to have failure of erection. I need the following information in order to help you

1. Which anti hypertensive are you taking?
2. Any work up of hypertension was done? Like thyroid disorder, renal artery stenosis, etc?
3. Did the symptoms start after taking antihypertensives?

Dear Dr,

I am not taking any medicines. However i have seeked an appointment with a doctor, Who suggested 24 hr Ambulatory pressure monitoring and i am awaiting results and reports from them. The doctor said once the report is ready we will go about with other test and then start with medications if necessary.

I suggest you get investigated for loss of erection by a urologist/ endocrinologist as soon as possible.
The most common reasons for failure to get erections are

1. Stress/ Anxiety
2. Thyroid dysfunction
3. Diabetes
4. Excessive masturbation
5. Alcohol and smoking
6. Fatigue due to work

Please do not ignore this matter, it is important to get investigated
