Brief Answer:
Amazeo usually doesn't cause excessive sleepiness.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

Amazeo is Amisulpride and the drug is an antipsychotic drug which also has great efficacy in depressive disorders. The drug is known to cause insomnia in patients so it is advised that the drug should be taken in morning hours.

Excessive sleepiness is usually not seen in patients taking amazeo. But since he is on high doses so at this dose heaviness in head can be seen which can be confused with sleepiness.

Persisting depressive symptoms could also cause excessive sleepiness and should be treated by adding some other antidepressant drug like Escitalopram or Fluoxetine. These drugs will help in better symptoms control and will thus help in depressive symptoms.

Thanks.
