Brief Answer: Mostly likely no Detailed Answer: Hi Ambien is not known to alter the results of the lipid and fasting glucose drastically. Even if it would, definitely not to the point where a doctor would be mislead to take diagnostic or therapeutic decisions. Hope this answers.
