Brief Answer:
may not have a significant effect

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Isosorbide works by widening the blood vessels and in this way it helps with angina/chest pain and can also affect the blood pressure.

There are different types of isosorbide (eg mononitrate or dinitrate, long acting or immediate release) but in general the dose for blood pressure effects is usually higher.
This means that it is quite possible that it would not have a significant effect on your blood pressure.

You can monitor your blood pressure readings if you have a machine at home. If the blood pressure falls but you do not have any effect from the decrease then you can continue to monitor the readings. Some persons tolerate slightly low readings with no problems

If it falls and you have symptoms, then you should see your doctor. Symptoms include dizziness, palpitations, clammy feeling, lightheadedness, fatigue etc

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
