Brief Answer:
Olanzapine is an antipsychotic drug

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for the query

Olimelt or Olanzapine is an antipsychotic drug. The drug is used in a number of conditions like psychosis, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders and also in resistant depression. She was on 5 mg then 2.5 and then 1.25 mg. These doses are low doses and in my opinion these doses have been given to her either for poor sleep or anxiety. Though to make proper diagnosis her clinical history is needed.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Visit a psychiatrist if possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking again

Yes she is already on very low dose of the drug and this dose can be stopped easily. Meditation if properly practiced can help to control anxiety and thus ameliorates the need for medicines.

Her symptoms like thinking about past failures, poor concentration, delayed response sometimes etc suggest depression and should be evaluated properly. If possible visit a psychiatrist with all her treatment records and provide detailed history. This will help in making exact diagnosis.

Thanks. No need to get worried, a lot of individuals suffer from anxiety and depressive disorders.
