Brief Answer: some possible causes Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX i am Dr Mittal There are several reasons why all stents are not put at the same time. some of the commonest causes are 1. development of some problem over a period of time needing a restenting 2. avoiding breakage of fat in the vessels that may reach and block some vessel elsewhere causing severe conditions like stroke 3. sometimes the lesion is at a bend. it may not be easy to negotiate the bend at the same sitting, thereby needing repeat procedure sometimes do upload the angiography films. may be able to help you further after seeing them Stick to your medicines feel free to ask related queries best of luck Dr Mittal
