The gallbladder area is in the right upper part of your abdomen, and other organs are around that area that may cause pain or discomfort.
First of all you can still get a pain very similar if you develop stones or sludge in your bile ducts, even if you don't have your gallbladder. This would give you a colicky pain, that comes and goes, and may be worsened by meals.
If you feel gassy or "bubbly" this could mean there is something going on within your stomach or colon. Sometimes "bacterial overgrowth" can cause a lot of gas and make you feel like this; this entity is easily treated with a special antibiotic. The pancreas could also get inflammed and cause you to feel pain or discomfort in that area. The liver usually doesn't cause pain, unless it gets enlarged (from fat in the liver, inflammation due to hepatitis viruses, etc).
I highly recommend you getting an appointment with a primary care doctor, that way he can examine you, get routine blood tests and an abdominal ultrasound or MRI.
Hope that helps.
