When Will Bleeding Resume Post Intake Of Contraceptive Pills?

Question: hi.. i am in my birth control pills from last month.. as my wedding was around the corner i finished one pack of 21 pills and continued with next pack inmediately for one more week.. when i started with the second pack i had slight bleeding for 4,5 days.. now i have stopped my tablets from yesterday.. still having slight bleeding but not full periods flow.. within how many days will i get my periods? plz let me know..

i am advised to start pills in 5th day of periods.. i should wait till i get my periods or should i start pills again after 1 week even if i dont get my periods and am not pregnant.. plz help

2) Duration of cycle? Any inter-menstrual bleeding?

3) Last time, when did you involve in unprotected sex according to cycle?

If you don't get full flow of period during pill-free days, then you have low risk of pregnancy if you involved in unprotected sex. Instead you can do protected sex.

hi.. i had regular periods before taking pills.. duration of cycle was 28-30 days and there was no inter-menstrual bleeding.. my periods was due on 28th of feb.. as my wedding was on the same day i had to postpone my periods.. i started taking birth control pills from 17th of feb.. the pack of 21 pills ended on 8th of march.. as i wanted to postpone my periods further i started the new pack immediately.. after i started the new pack i experienced slight bleeding.. i stopped taking my pills from 15th of march.. but still experiencing on and off spotting but not complete periods flow.. the last time i had unprotected sex was on 15th of march.. these are the complete details.. plz let me know when can i expect my periods and when to start the next pack of pills..

I suggest you to await up to 7 days (from 15th to 22nd March) to get a full-flow period. It will be considered as pill-free days.

Take healthy diet, avoid extra mental stress and maintain genital hygiene. I can suggest to take combination of parsley and ginger tea to induce period properly.

You should start next pill pack from 23rd March onward, continuously for next 21 days with 7 days gap, if you DON'T get proper period (otherwise from D5).

Use CONDOM during pill-free days to avoid unwanted pregnancy as your cycle is NOT properly established.
