When Do Drugs Show Up In A Blood Test?

Question: I want to know if my son has the ability to pass a urine test with in 24 hours, 48 hours or what. I cot him snorting the drug an even after 7 days in a local rehab i feel he learned more information on how to beet the urine test than anything else. I have felt that 7 days only gave him 7 days with other drugs. Further education for him and our family is greatly needed. My main question is how many hours have to pass from his last use with no detection in his urine

I understand that you are quite worried about your son's drug abuse problems. Now, regarding your question, different types of drugs have different detection times. This is because the duration of action as well as the time taken for the body to clear the drug from the system are different for each drug. The approximate detection time (by urine testing) of some of the commonly abused drugs are as follows: Cannabis (Marijuana): 7 to 10 days Cocaine: 3 to 4 days Amphetamines (Speed): 2 to 3 days Heroin: 2 to 3 days LSD (Acid): 1 to 2 days Psylocybin (Magic mushrooms): 1 to 2 days The detection times can be more for chronic drug users or if the quantity of usage is high.
