Thanks for your query.

There are two types of vaccination recommendation.

1. Mandatory: Means the vaccines which US authorities will want you to take. This depends upon the type of visa and details are given in the visa application form it self and in most of the case they give either them selves at the consulate or they want you take before you go. The list will be there in the form.Normally there is list like MMR,Influenza,Hepatitis B and so on.

2. Suggested vaccines: Means if you take it that is good. They are not must.

With best of my knowledge there are no special vaccinations that you need while traveling to USA. Infectious diseases are less in that subcontinent and if you have taken routine vaccine as per your age there is no special need to take anything else.

As wrote earlier there are different guidelines for different categories, but if you are traveling of just visitor visa no vaccines are mandatory or required.

I hope this helps.

Wishing you happy journey and best wishes for the time to come.

Do write again if you have something more to ask.

In case you do not have further query, please accept the answer.

Good to hear from you again.

Normal vaccines advisable for adults are

1. Td VAC-that is tetanus and diphtheria to be taken at 10 years, 15 years and every time after injury.
2. Hepatitis-B: the dosage schedule for any age is 0,1st month and 6 month.
3. Hepatitis A: 2 doses 6 months apart.
4. MMR: for young girls and females.2 doses one in childhood and another at school entry or in adulthood.
5. Typhoid-to be taken every 3 years depending upon the disease pattern in your area.
6. Flu Vaccine: Needs to be taken yearly as per need. Not every one needs to take this. This is advisable for those who have higher incidence of flu in every season.
7. Rubella: Must of girl or young females in child barring age.

These are the routinely advised vaccine for adults. You should discuss this with your primary care physician and take the vaccines.
