The management of foot corn solely depends on the symptoms it is producing

These are the situations I would recommend it surgically removed :

1] If the size is increasing
2] If the pain is not tolerable
3] If it is infected [The skin over it will be red and it may discharge pus]
4] If it is interfering in day to day activity
5] Very occasionally few patients come to get it removed as they do not want to get it complicated

The corn caps available in market have failed to show good results

If you do not want to get it removed, you may opt for pain killers and antibiotics as the need be
