Question: How to overcome less hemoglobin in blood No problems, when i wanted to donate blood the doc said due to defeciency of hemoglobin in blood i can not donate

Brief Answer: need more information Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Could you please let me know your hemoglobin level in the blood? The treatment of low hemoglobin (Hb) depends on the cause for it and the number of it. If it is mildly low, then increasing nutritional supplements of iron like jaggery and spinach will help. Many a time, oral iron supplements in the form of Iron tablets or capsule may be required, along with folic acid. In severe cases of low Hb, blood transfusion is advised. Hope this helps you.
