17 month old with cough ,fever, and wheezing. she has been fine that past couple of days, woke up this morning wheezing, coughing and with fever. She has been messing with her left ear, like she may have an ear infection. Has been sleeping off and on all day, not really playing or being herself.

Brief Answer: Need to get her ears examined Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for writing to health care magic. You need to get her ears examined as ear infections are pretty common in this age group. If positive you might need antihistamines and albuterol or salbutamol syrup with antibiotics. If ear examination is negative antibiotics may not be required. Wishing your kid speedy recovery. Regards Dr Arun.
