Dear Mr XXXXXX,

You are definitely not at risk.
The maximum incubation period of Rabies is 1 year. As the bite was 16 years ago and the dog was alive 10 days after the bite, there is absolutely no risk of Rabies.

Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.
