You are asking about gallbladder function and location in the body.
Galbladder is located on right upper abdominal quadrant, under the liver .
It's major function is to collect the bilirubin that comes from liver. Collecting the bile produced in liver , gallbladder helps to flow the bilirubin in duoden in small portions.

So the bile firstly Is collected in gallbladder and after that with the help of choledocc it flows in duoden in small portions according to the food intake.
