Brief Answer: Need more information Detailed Answer: Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at XXXXXXX Warts are benign growths, which are actually infections caused by one of the many Human Papilloma Virus. They are usually asymptomatic but sometimes can be associated with some itching/burning specially when situated in the moist environment of genitalia. It is possible to get warts from others; they are contagious and usually enter the body in an area of broken skin. They can disappear after a few months but can last for years and can reoccur. I would like to gather some more information from you regarding your concern in order to be able to help you better. -Did you take any treatment for the wart when it first occurred? Was it removed surgically? -Has it recurred in the same place OR at a different site? -Are you married? -Any history of Sexual contact before marriage OR any history of extramarital sexual contact? -Do you experience itching exactly at the site of wart OR is it at away? -Can you send me clear pictures of the lesion in order for me to be absolutely sure? take care regards

Brief Answer: CO2 Laser/Radiofrequency cautery Detailed Answer: Hi. Thanks for the reply. I would keep a possibility common wart (not an STD, considering that it was not acquired sexually). In my practice i usually remove warts with either CO2 Laser vaporisation OR Radiofrequency cautery. Treatment is simple and it is advisable to remove the warts, for risk of spreading to other areas by autoinocculation (neighboring as well as distant sites). I would advice that you seek an appointment from a nearby dermatologist for wart removal. take care regards

Brief Answer: Topical antifungal cream+oral antihistamine Detailed Answer: Hi. I would guess that you are having some sort of fungal infection in the groin which is causing itching. I could advice empirically treatment for this: I ask my patients to you use a topical anti-fungal cream like clotrimazole twice daily for 2-4 weeks. Its is available OTC. An oral anti-histamine like cetrizine OR fexofenadine once daily would help in controlling the itch as well. Removal of wart would be anything around 500/- to 750/- per lesion depending on the doctor. Another option is to visit a government hospital (if you are in india) where it would be free of cost. take care regards
