What Is The Cause And Treatment For Watery Eyes?
Question: I am 43 year old working 8-10 hours on computer. Since last 3 years, i have observed watery eyes and sometimes infection of pus. On examination, i was diagnosed for dryness in eyes and recommended for lenses which I am wearing till date while working / riding my 2 wheeler. I was suggested eye drop tears. However, the problem still persist. Pls suggest.

Continuous working with computer may give rise to computer vision syndrome. It is mainly dry eye. Stop continues exposure to computer. Staring and lack of blinking will prevent tear film spread and result in dry eye and effect cornea. You should take break in between work. Blink and go near window ,look outside, use anti glare specs. If possible fix anti glare glass before computer screen. Apply artificial tear eye drop like refresh tear drop in between. Avoid continuous staring at computer. Always take a break.
