I suppose you mean fractioned bilirubin test. Bilirubin is a pigment produced by liver cells and raised levels indicate hepatic or biliary dysfunction.
It is measured as total bilirubin which has two fractions; conjugated bilirubin (water soluble component) and unconjugated bilirubin (fat soluble component)
