What Foods Can Be Introduced To A 4 Month Old Baby?

Question: Hello Doctor,
Our Baby is close to 4 months old now. Can we introduce any other foods to our baby other than Mother's milk or do you suggest us to wait until he turns 6 months? Also, we have missed giving him the PCV vaccination in the 10th week and 14 week. Can we have him vaccinated for PCV at any time before he turns 1 year?

Exclusive breast feed should be given upto 6 months of age.

I would insist you to wait till 6 months of age before you introduce any other food. Exclusive breast feeding is recommended till then. No issues with the missed vaccination. You can give it even now if you wish. You can even get him vaccination shortly after 1 year of age. The only concern would be that the protection would not be active till then.
